has passed between the Acting Colonial Treasurer and yourself
on the subject of the note issue of your bank exceeding the authorised limit, viz.,$2,750,000,I am directed to invite
your attention to the return furnished by you on the 2nd.inst. which shews notes in circulation to the value of $2,836,976 or $86,976 in excess of the limit.
